I am a Level
2 coach, a Level C umpire and a qualified First Aider.
Many years ago I trained as a specialist in Physical Education
and Sports Science at Loughborough university (Bsc. Joint
Honours and PGCE) and have been a teacher in both the secondary
and primary sectors since 1985.
I currently teach at a primary school in Stafford where
I live with my husband, who is an osteopath, and my daughter
I have been involved in netball ever since I was a school
girl. I captained the county team for Hertfordshire at under
18 level and played for Loughborough University as a student.
Whilst there I was selected for the English Students Squad
and the British Universities Squad.
After qualifying as a teacher I continued to play league
netball in Kent for a number of years.
I moved to Stafford 9 years ago and played briefly in the
Stafford league before retiring from competative play.
